Élitis new fabrics collection 2024 Baléares
Another favorite brand with an amazing new collection. Élitis France is known for its luxurious wall coverings and fine fabrics. When their new collection is named Baléares, you already know it’s meant to be.
Weaves and patchworks of raw materials such as jute, rope and cotton. Pattern that are a play of irregular lines and the inclusion of wooden beads and raffia tassels make it the perfect Balearic combination. In their own words; ‘Travel back to your roots, take refuse in the beauty of simple things and find art in authenticity’.
They certainly captured the beauty and authenticity of the island, since the fabrics blend right in with the natural stones and woods of the characteristic architectural style of the houses on the island. Similar to our own home. Makes me want to redo some of the upholstery…
So, I ordered some samples which I have combined with other materials to give you an idea how Studio S.A.C. would use them in our designs. And of course, we can’t refrain from sharing some of the Élitis’ photos as well, since they so well capture the essence of this collection.
